A shy timid cat needs plenty of human understanding and patience especially a rescue cat getting used to its’ new home.
Sometimes, with time. a shy cat can really come out of its’ shell and it takes a good understanding, patient human being to walk that slow path with the cat. However, sometimes people get it wrong and find themselves with an unhappy cat who is peeing outside of its’ litter box. The reasons can be very complex and the puzzle, as to why this has started, may need to be deciphered by a cat behaviourist.
